Registration for the examination is binding.

Cancellations for the exam are only possible in writing and only up to the registration deadline for the respective exam (i.e. 30 days before the exam date). If I register after the registration deadline (i.e. within 30 days before the examination), I cannot cancel my participation in the examination free of charge under any circumstances. If I miss the deadline for canceling my registration or do not appear for the examination without canceling, I must pay the examination fee in full.

I am aware that I have no right of withdrawal. Firstly, the examinations are personalized services (§ 312g para. 2 no. 1 BGB), and secondly, after my registration, TUDIAS begins the preparations - which incur costs - for the already specifically scheduled event by registering with telc (§ 312g para. 2 no. 1 BGB). Entries in the text fields of the registration form above are not part of the contract, as they are not evaluated manually.

I will be on time for the examination. I am aware that being late from the first minute can lead to exclusion from the examination. In this case, the examination fee must still be paid.

TUDIAS will automatically order the relevant participant documents for me from telc directly after my booking. I confirm that the information provided above is correct. I am aware that I may have to pay for any additional costs incurred if I provide incorrect or late information. I have taken note of the information on fees for additional services (see below).

This is my first and only registration for this exam on this date. I am aware that I will have to pay more than once if I register more than once, unless TUDIAS has previously authorized my multiple registration in writing (for example, to change an existing registration).

Unless otherwise stated, the examinations take place in Dresden at TUDIAS, located at Freiberger Straße 37.

 

Fees for additional or special services

The prices that you confirm when booking include all services, from registration to the examination itself, including your certificate or results sheet. So you don't have to worry about hidden costs.

To ensure that you receive the results of the test quickly and that we can always offer you the best possible prices, we need information and documents from you in a timely manner.

For example, if you would like to have old results credited, we need your results sheet, or if you were absent due to illness, we need a note from your doctor. Please hand in these documents on the day of the exam or at the latest two days after the exam - you can simply send them to us by e-mail. Any documents that we have not received by this time will incur increased costs and may no longer be considered.

 

Subsequent processing of additional documents (crediting of examination results, merging of certificates, declaratations, etc.)

Additional documents for a language exam are usually brought along on the day of the exam and copied by us. In exceptional cases, it is also possible to submit the documents up to two days after the exam. Any later submission means that we have to initiate a separate process to correct the information submitted to telc, which involves additional work and is therefore charged at 79.00 euros.

Please note that there is no guarantee of successful processing if additional documents are submitted late, as this depends on telc's goodwill.

 

Subsequent changes to certificates (e.g. name changes in the event of spelling errors)

Your details will also appear on your certificate in the same way as the cover sheet for the exam and/or the personal details you enter when registering. This will also be pointed out to you at the start of the examination. If you enter incorrect information when registering and/or enter incorrect or illegible information on the cover sheet, your certificate may contain errors. If your personal details appear incorrectly on a certificate, it is usually possible to subsequently change the details on the certificate to match the details on your ID card. However, as this is charged by telc and involves additional work, we charge 79.00 euros for such changes.

 

Identity fraud (e.g. presenting a forged ID or the ID of someone else)

By registering, you accept the following condition: I am aware that the presentation of false identification documents is punishable by law. This includes both false identity documents and the presentation of another person's identity documents. My identity will be biometrically verified using software at the start of the check. I acknowledge that I will forfeit a contractual penalty of 100.00 euros in addition to the examination fee for each attempt to deceive my identity - whether completed or incomplete - and that my examination will not be evaluated by telc due to the attempt to deceive. Any completed attempt to deceive will be reported to the police by TUDIAS. I acknowledge that TUDIAS will be named as the injured party in these proceedings due to the contractual penalty.

 

Sending a new copy or scan of the certificate (e.g. if you have lost your original certificate)

For example, if you have lost your certificate, we can send you a copy or a scan if we still have it in our records. If by post in Germany or by e-mail, we charge 25.00 euros for this service for certificates for exams taking place after October 2024 (please contact: telc@tudias.de)

We cannot guarantee that we have all certificates on file, as these are destroyed in accordance with data protection regulations after a predetermined period of time.

 

Replacement of a certified copy (e.g. for authorities, applications, or university)

We can produce a certified copy of your certificate for you on request if you, for example, have lost the original copy.

We will stamp and sign the copy and confirm that it matches the original. We charge 69.00 euros for this service.
