Training content
In the preliminary course German A2-B1.2 a basic training in the German language takes place. Grammar and vocabulary are consolidated and expanded. The skills of speaking, listening, reading and writing are developed.

Building on the knowledge of basic grammar, and after successfully passing the B1 exam, you will learn intermediate grammar and expand your vocabulary knowledge. You will train your reading and listening comprehension, as well as your speaking and writing skills.

Target group
All international students with previous knowledge of the German language. The course is particularly suitable for international applicants who later wish to take the DSH, TestDaF or Feststellungsprüfung.

Training goal
Preparation for the entrance test for the propaedeutic course at the TU Dresden.

Training content
Grammar and vocabulary necessary for the entrance test are practiced. C-tests are practiced in the form in which they will be tested in the entrance test.

Target group
International applicants who are invited to take the entrance test at the TU Dresden.

Admission/pre-registration at the TU Dresden for winter semester 2023/24.

In this course you will learn to make yourself understood in German and to read simple texts.

All interested students without previous knowledge.

Building on the basic A1 level, students learn to express themselves clearly in everyday situations and to read and understand simple texts. Simple grammatical structures are taught and applied in thematic contexts.

All interested students with previous knowledge at level A1 (at least 80 lessons).

Corresponds to A2 of the European Framework of Reference for Languages.

Training content
Building on the basic A1 level, students learn to express themselves clearly in everyday situations and to read and understand simple texts. Simple grammatical structures are taught and applied in thematic contexts.

All interested students with previous knowledge at level A1 (at least 100 lessons).

Understanding of reading and listening texts on familiar topics, normal conversations in private and professional life possible.

Training content
Conversation-oriented study of listening and reading texts, sentence structure, prepositions in fixed compounds, nominalizations, attributes.

Training objective
Level of the DSH/the TestDaF

Training content
Building on the consolidation of basic grammar and vocabulary, the intermediate level grammar is taught and the vocabulary is expanded. Reading and listening comprehension and speaking and writing skills are further developed. The course concludes with DSH/TestDaF training.

Joining the level C1 is only possible when the B2 exam is passed successfully.

Target group
All international students with completed B1. The course is particularly suitable for international applicants who wish to take the DSH or TestDaF.

Proof of an A1 certificate required. If no A1 certificate is available, a placement test will be carried out.

All international students with completed B1. The course is particularly suitable for international applicants who wish to join Studienkolleg or Propädeutikum at TU Dresden.

Training content
The grammar and vocabulary necessary for the DSH and TestDaF are consolidated. Reading and listening comprehension as well as speaking and writing skills are trained in the form in which they are tested in TestDaF and DSH.
