4 groups, 126 students from Mongolia, and one shared goal: pursuing a degree at TU Dresden.
Since the winter semester of 2023, TUDIAS has been supporting young and motivated students from Mongolia on their journey towards studying at TU Dresden. As part of the cooperation between TU Dresden, TUDIAS and the Ministry of Education of Mongolia, students first attend a preparatory German language course, followed by the TUDIAS Studienkolleg, where they develop the language skills and subject knowledge needed for their future studies.
Last week, during the Mongolian President’s state visit to Berlin and Dresden, our Managing Director, Antonio Hurtado, and our colleague, Kirsten Reuter-Skrypnik, had the opportunity to speak with the students about their experiences and impressions at the university, gain insights into Mongolian culture, and thank the President for the successful partnership.
The program also included the opening of the exhibition “Genghis Khan and the World of the Mongols” at the James-Simon-Galerie, as well as a concert by the Mongolian National Orchestra, attended by both Mongolian President Khurelsukh Ukhnaa and German Federal President Frank-Walter Steinmeier.
