Internal assessment test for the TUDIAS Preparatory College
The internal assessment test is aimed at international students who do not yet have the entrance requirements for studying in Germany. With the completion of the examination, the applicants receive their university entrance qualification. The assessment test is taken after successful participation in the TUDIAS Preparatory College at the end of the second semester.

WHAT IS THE ASSESSMENT TEST?
The Abitur or the Fachhochschulreife are the basic requirements for studying at university in Germany. International applicants need a comparable degree to study in this country. However, international degrees are not always recognized in Germany. In this case, attendance at a Preparatory College followed by an assessment test entitles a student to begin studies at a German university.
The assessment test provides information about the linguistic, technical, and methodological competencies of the applicants. The content of the examination depends on the focus of the intended course of study.
HOW DO I REGISTER FOR THE ASSESSMENT TEST?
Admission to the assessment test is granted after successful one-year participation in the Preparatory College. A separate registration for the assessment test is usually not required.
WHAT IS THE PROCEDURE FOR THE ASSESSMENT TEST?
The procedure of the assessment examination is subject to the FSPVO of November 18, 2011. The assessment examination comprises written and oral examinations. The three written examination subjects vary depending on the planned university study course. In all cases, the assessment exam includes a written German exam.
An oral examination is given in at least one subject.
Upon successful completion of the assessment test, you will receive the assessment certificate of the TUDIAS Preparatory College at the TU Dresden. With this certificate you can apply for a study place at all colleges and universities in Germany.
